Mrs. Kilgo is in her 15th year of teaching healthcare science at Woodland High School and has been in education for 21 years, having taught radiology in the college setting for 6 years before becoming a Wildcat. She is also the advisor for HOSA-Future Health Professionals and National Technical Honor Society. Coaching Game Day and basketball cheerleading is also a part of Mrs. Kilgo’s professional duties. Mrs. Kilgo has been in the healthcare profession as a registered radiologic technologist, mammographer and educator for 26 years.
Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Georgia, Associate of Applied Science in Healthcare Occupations from Floyd College and a diploma in Radiologic Technology from Coosa Valley Technical Institute. Prior to her teaching career, Mrs. Kilgo worked as a registered radiologic technologist and mammographer at several hospitals in Northwest Georgia.
Mrs. Kilgo enjoys being involved in her community as well as being a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Stilesboro Improvement Club. She attends The First Baptist Church of Cave Spring along with her family and 93-year-old grandmother. Mrs. Kilgo is a native of Cave Spring, GA in Floyd County and has lived in Bartow County for the past 23 years.
Mrs. Kilgo resides in Euharlee with her husband of 26 years, Mike, and their three children. Jarrett (WHS 2015) and Jamison (WHS 2017) are both in college and Jaylee is a current Wildcat at WHS.
